Ignite's Junior Development Program (JDP) is a fun, safe, social and active program for girls AND boys aged 6 to 10.
JDP allows kids of all abilities to have a positive introduction to netball, whilst teaching the basic skills in a safe and fun environment. The program operates through a clinic-style program made up of drills and modified games.
JDP is ideal for new, younger players hoping to get a feel for netball, and preparing for potential placement into an Ignite team.
Ignite Netball Club runs the following programs:
Players move to the Saturday competition after completing a few seasons of GO.

Ignite Netball Club runs the following programs:
- JDP - Wednesday afternoons 3:30 - 4:30pm). For Grade 1 – Grade 3, focusing on developing and refining fundamental motor skills, and introducing modified netball matches.
- GO (Monday games and Wednesday afternoon training). For Grade 3/4's who have completed at least one season of JDP, and are ready to develop netball specific skills. GO involves modified netball matches, played on a Monday afternoon at Sportlink, Vermont South. Waiting lists may apply.

Fees are $175 for all participants. This includes an annual Netball Victoria fee of $70. Spring season will be $105 for repeat participants and $175 for new participants.
Important: Please note parents are expected to stay as a spectator during the sessions or nominate another responsible parent for their child.
